Its 5am, im up, just finished updating myself with patty's blog, hmmm and im feeling extra extra happy today. One, i downloaded a lot of podcasts, mostly from good times acoustic featuring the one and only, johnoy danao! And a couple from coldplay and mymp. Im excited to listen to it while im on my one hour commute from quezon city to makati. A thing to look forward to. *side note: Awesome! This baby is awesome. Perfect for a person like me- sentimental and a memory keeper! Thanks mom!* :-)
Two, im going home in less than 36hrs!!! After 15 weeks of vanilla madness, im finally done. But this is not the ending i was expecting. I dont want to leave. Ive come to love this busy, crowded city atmosphere. Cebu is love, cebu is home (will always be), but the vibe and challenge vanilla town has given me for the past months is incomparable. The taste of independence, total independence. Waking up to vanilla sunshine, inhaling vanilla pollution, braving through the strong vanilla wind and heavy rain, forcing myself inside the congested metro rail transit... Getting lost, missing train stops, not getting the exact change from taxi drivers, the encounter with anne curtis (haha!!) haiii...
Its kinda... Its hard to say goodbye to this very simple lifestyle i have here. More so, its even duper super kaduper hard to say goodbye (temporarily) to my new friends.. :-( i hate leaving, i hate goodbyes, and i have to get through this saturday with a very heavy heart. I will miss everyone from work. Never get too attached, after vanilla town, life goes on for all of us. And hello? Theres facebook. Pero, it will be very different not having the bmg plaza PG team in cebu.. :-(
But like my daily mrt ride, im almost at my exit stop. All the people, places, experiences and memories will always be kept in a special spot. The real life lessons will always be with me, to guide me, and to make me remember that no matter how difficult, the sun sets at the end of the day giving way for another sunrise. A happy thought and it keeps me moving forward.
Thank you, vanilla town. Hello, cebu! (in 2 days!).
...now let me check some "teach me how to dougie" vids, gotta prepare for sasasaturday!!!
