if in doubt, throw it out!

i am under house arrest until room renovations are finished- painting the walls and cabinets, setting up the dresser, cleaning out the closets and throwing useless stuff! one cabinets is utilized for my clothes and another for all whatever stuff- old books, boxes of anything, memorabilia, coloring materials etc etc. after 5 years of keeping all those whatevers in cabinet #2, after my 4hour sleep, i had the guts to examine it and segregate useful from useless, and yeah... sentimental. actually, useful should not be one of the choices. everything in the closet are OLD stuff. very useless! and since im a sentimental type of person, i saw a lot of things that instantly flashed back a lot of memories. and i mean a looot of memories.

and after hours of sorting out, cleaning and throwing (and reminiscing)... here are some of the stuff that i found. all of them im keeping! the most interesting thing i found in that wound-be-trash stuff? an envelop with my lock of hair mga 2003? basta, highschool.
NOTE: no names will be mentioned, most of the pictures below are from ex-lovers and now good friends.

a. boxes filled with letters and pictures!!! this is so highschool!

 b. squeezing in!!! that bottle of coke was from a suitor in college... ehem!

c. my entire highschool life in a box?

d. will HE kill me for posting this? he'll never find out about my blog anyway. he's kinda famous already so you deserve a spot here! bleh.

 e. meeya in a box! all our letters in highschool. i miss you!!! we were in 4th yr higschool, we were not classmates... so we wrote each other a letter everyday that we'd exchange over break time.

 f. way back in 3rd year HS i asked my close friends to sign/decorate/do-anything with my scrapbook (i utilized a drawing book)... left to right: loura's, chessy's, marianelle's, nivien's and mia's. very creative, girls!!!

 g. will someone kill me for posting this? what's up with my highschool crush and graphing papers? this is really cute!

h. edison/jigle... haha defensive ra kaayo ka sa imu feelings for me!? "a friendly letter" jud sa front?!

 i. college days, girls were gaga over the taiwanese group f4! and since we have 5 boys in the barkada (balun, jj, bryan, nigel and gajudz) ahhh we have our very own f4 + their manager!

 j. big j! you certainly have one of the most creative palancas and letters. no wonder you are Artwork girl. there are a lot pa but their all scattered in my room, like the hand painted handkerchief and my caricature. thank you big J!

k. leigh's! infairness, you also have creative palancas ha! here's some part of what you wrote on that white paper: "katugon na dyud kaayo ko... pero sige lang. matabang pa atleast somehow... kym kabaw naman ka about the 'real' purpose of this reco... and that is not just picture taking and making chika-chika. or unsa panan chunkang2x dira"... (ang mga funny parts lang ni)... "ayaw na palabi ug pada sa imu hectic schedule labi na sa presidency nga imu g-hold karun... shut uf kym... if i know feel kaayo na nimu... saba dira uy... chaka raba kaayo ka (mean lage ka!), and oh by the way ayaw pag business karun kay bad na as of the moment. ug if ever masakpan ta ni magadan ba... ayaw pan damay ha kay daghan kaayo ta masangit. if possible 1 for all; all for 1... sino-sino pa ba and magkakampi kung tayo lang rin namang na business circle (di najud ka kabaw mu tagalog sa una pa!)"... HAHA LEIGH!

 l. reading through all these little notes makes me go "awwwwwwww" =) thank you for all those words!!! hello, you. yes you!!!

m. master of all. this one here, you have given me a lot of letters na pwede na nko i-wall paper sa room! hehe... creative, sweet, hard to read handwriting, organic, techy... all sorts of letters!

n. and yess... since im a huge music fan. here are some of my cassette tapes! im planning to do something with the, create a picture out of its covers.

cleaning is therapeutic. daddy always reminded me to let go of useless and ugly things. throw out anything that is not beautiful anymore. just like some people in our lives, we don't need toxic vibes to drive us nuts everyday, all we need is a few good ones that will inspire us to do better every single day. so this holy week season, let go of whatever toxins you have in your life- vices, bad company, anything! you dont need these poisonous substances around you. better focus on the good things in life like family and friends.

if in doubt, throw it out!
