animalistic.

weee!!! the weekend.
friday: late night talkS with GL and Tuna. we tried to check out Veranda in Parkmall (since Formo night is not possible for me and Gen the next day), but they weren't playing "our" kind of music for that night (hello? we got there 1:30am na and 2:00am ang closing!), we prefered our usual 80s-90s shindig. oh well! we couldn't find one that night so we opted free seats in Coffee Cat, free seats because we didn't order a thing. but we capped off at 5am(?) with pandesal and hot choco from Pan de Manila... oh la la. i would love to finish my night outs with pandesal and hot choco!!! it felt like we just finished attending simbang gabi.

anyway, again "hindi ka manlalamig sa isa kung hindi ka nanginginit sa iba". JUST SAYING! =) and... LOVE is a choice.

saturday: before partying (more of drinking, dancing and trying to fit in!) i had dinner with DD and SD. we checked out this new, small, fancy, sooo-pang-first-date-drama restaurant near Parklane Hotel, it's called "Simply J's Cafe). sino si J? i'm not good in doing a food blog but i'd give the place an 8/10.

a. parking: just proportional with the volume of people the cafe can accommodate at a time.
b. price: very affordable, meals range from 120-200p. drinks from 30-100p.
c. comfort rooms: i didn't personally check it out, but dad told me they just utilized the house's comfort room. (i think the place is originally used as a home then they converted it into a dining place).
d. ambiance: very cozy and homey. i am reminded of the movie "notting hill". it was like a resto in a very small town, country style. as i've said sooo-pang-first-date ang drama of the place. maka imagine kag ka holding hands!

SO CUUTESY PATOOTSEY!!! love.

 SD and her carbonara

me and my baby back ribs (sorry NO DIET)

DD and his fish fillet
overall impact: 8/10!!! applause. i will definitely go back to this place. i will definitely recommend this place to my friends. it's always nice to dine somewhere local. you get a different vibe. you know that anywhere in the world, there is no other resto that will make you feel that exact feeling. weh!? =p

then the party begins... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KRITTIE and it's my COMEBACK to the market appearance hahaha!!! warning: we are NOT party animals, we just get screwed once in a while.

okay, so i am sort of the barkada's "organizer". when i am in the mood i take care of our whatevers, parties etc... and i usually have a theme! so when i got a text from kritie "moy, unsay theme this saturday? heels?"... my instant reply was "animalistic!"... however you want to interpret that!

animalistic:
as a noun - a person driven by animal appetites; sensualist.
as a verb -  of, relating to, or resembling an animal or animals, brutish
so go figure!!!

L-R: fauve, cleng, cheeky, suy, patsy, lelil, kritie the birthday girl, me and half of echuserang kuya's body.
after a couple of bottles.
