Merry Christmas!!!

It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year!!! :))) Merry Christmas to one and all, from our family to yours. Let's forget about counting those calories and extra love handles that we put in during this season of super eating and mega drinking.

However, in this season of merry making and glee, I miss my cousins- especially Kuya Jed, Kevin, Ken and Carl... I can't even remember the last Christmas when we were complete. Hello to the generation after us- Jaz, Julianne, Ram, Joshua and Pael, I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with you kiddos. To my cousins on the other side, we never really got to spend so many Christmases together but still I'm looking forward to celebrating with you guys, soon!

I never really enjoyed celebrating Christmas anymore (not until this year, hehe)... it's not because I received less gifts or for whatsoever drama that I have- you just lose the spirit, I lost the spirit of Jesus' birth. Bad me. Anyway, this year is extra special and extra different- you know why, no need to emphasize it over and over again. Okay? Fine.

Here are some of the pictures of how the Ramos family celebrated Christmas together... I miss that huge house in Maria Luisa wherein all the kiddos are left with nothing to do because all the mommies and daddies were busy shopping for presents.

Kevin always had his hands on his play station joystick (upgraded through the years, from the family computer to his Nintendo, to his Sega, to his Play Station). I miss how Kuya Jed gets whatever he wants! From money, to shoes to whatever! and Carl hiding inside the pink room when all the firecrackers are lighted- and how Tito Pads leads this activity (also getting the lechon from Cangs!)... also how Ken is bullied by Kuya Jed and we tease him "ken-ken the chicken". Oh boy, I miss you all! Tita Mels, the coolest tita ever, I remember your "pera o bayong game"... when it was Kev, Carl, Kaye or Ken's turn to play, the pot money would always reach up to 1million or more... but when it was mine or Kuya Jed's turn, you'd only offer a maximum pot money of 500 pesos HAHAHA!!! Remember? (I know you are all reminiscing right now... )

I thought this was taken during Christmas Eve, but as I look at the date on it's lower right, New Year diay!

One of our Christmases in the Gorordo House. Everyone's here! (I guess...)

The games, banana eating contest. Anything to entertain the kiddos while waiting for 12mn to strike!
Very impromptu. Hmmm I think this was the time when we had a really small tree but super many gifts!!!

The awkward stage of growing up Christmas, in the Maria Luisa House. Kaye and I, always in terno... what's up with that? Hahaha!!! I remember singing "Colours of the Wind" this Christmas to get a prize, haha!
And also, I remember Tito Pads giving me a gift that year.. or was it Tito Gar? Basta.
Kuya Jed, you are sooo coool.

Already with Jazzie Boy, Christmas of 1997. Remember that Little Tikes car? Hahaha.
Who originally owns that? I don't see the Little Tikes basketball ring in this picture.

Hahaha, I hope I made you cry reading and looking at this post :D and lastly, remember the tradition of opening our gifts on Christmas Eve? and then wrapping them again so that we would still have gifts to open on New Years Eve? HAHAHAHA.

Merry Christmas, family. I miss you all. You just don't know :)
